So we have officially broken our 11 year streak. Went from clearly out to not even waiting for selection sunday to know we're in, in the span of a month.

I think we deserve a 6/7 seed. Will not be surprised, but will be annoyed at 8/9. Surprised but thankful if we get a 10-11 seed (instead of 8/9).

We should be a 6/7 seed. We beat FSU (a project #4 seed) twice. We beat everyone good we faced except UVa (and we would have beaten them too).

Sorry, but if the #4 seed and ACC champ isn't higher than the #36 team in the nation, there's something wrong with the committee.

I think we skipped ahead of the 8/9. Thinking 6 or 7. Hard to argue anyone other than FSU and UVA are ahead of us in the ACC pecking order.

That's why I think we will be a 6. The committee knows that we didn't practice like we should for those first two game and that if we played them today, we would win them. So seeing us as 17-6 and throwing those first two games out the window is most accurate to me and is in line with a 6 seed. Hopefully the committee sees it that way.

Do any more polls come out? If so we’re gonna be ranked in the next one. And while that doesn’t directly translate it does speak to the 6/7 range.

If I did my research right...

The lowest seed to win the ACC tournament has been the 6 seed... 5 times. Maryland most recently in '04, also us in '93. Both were 4 seeds in the NCAAT and had 19-11; 19-10 records before the NCAAT.

Not saying we will/should be a 4 seed... but higher than that may be a record for an ACC Champ.
