I know the ACC won it all via UNC but aside from that we didn't do great last year and the SEC did and so far this year the SEC is doing better than the ACC... what is going on?

We need to wait and see what today's teams do. Syracuse won as an 11 seed, essentially even to their competition in game 1, so that was good. Miami's star guard was out due to an injury, so it was an upset, but many predicted it. And NC State/Virginia Tech were in 8/9 games. So not really upsets there either, and both teams were competitive and played well. It happens sometimes.

I think TCU wins tonight and plays Michigan State in the Sweet 16

And for any of you anti-SEC people, brace yourself for awhile longer.

13 Buffalo beat Arizona, so that's who Kentucky plays next tomorrow.
11 Il-L beat Miami, so that's who Tennessee plays next tomorrow.
Then those 2 would play each other if they win.
Auburn plays 13 Charleston.

That's a near 10 seed advantage in each game. So that's likely 3 SEC wins.

If Arkansas comes back (down 9 now with 10:00 left), they'll play Purdue next, who just lost their star center for the year due to a broken arm.

Alabama plays 1 Villanova.
Florida plays 3 Texas Tech.
Texas A&M plays 2 UNCheat.
Missouri plays 9 Florida State tonight.

So there will most likely be 5 SEC losses in the next 2 1/2 days.

Don't be shocked if Tennessee is in the Final 4;)I think UT will get to avenge their losses earlier in the season to UNC and Villanova:cool:

Back then in football there were over 20 teams in the Southern Conference and everyone played 5-6 conference games;) I think in Basketball there was a two day Tournament that they played in the old Atlanta Civic Auditorium.;)

“Did Tech win 6 and qualify for a bowl game this year?”
“Yep, we went 6-12.”
