An ugly Christmas sweater is tacky. Black socks with plaid shorts is tacky. A blue leisure suit is tacky but this uni combo is far from tacky. They look way better than what a lot of the other NCAA teams wear. I don’t just don’t get the negativity ...

I wish there was a "thumbs down" button for your posts. Couldn't disagree more. Thinking you should be in control of uniforms because you buy tickets is sad. Get over it. Clemson has worn all-purple, UGA has worn all-back. Life goes on.

I hate to say it but you’re right. We do have an established brand that includes white jerseys every game and middle of the road records. Not saying changing uniforms will change our results but our brand could definitely use a refresh. I’m 61 so not a kid and i’m fine with different looks. I will say that I would like to see a gold jersey next year in the rotation.

Jumping off bridge now! Tradition matters youngsters. Bama, Auburn, Clemson, LSU, OSU, Michigan, etc. etc. This smacks of desperation, all in the name of.....the players like it. The players like Rap crap too, but we shouldn't change the Rambling Wreck song to something Tupac (sp) would have done.
Fundamentals win and gimmicks lose, at least in the long run.

And yes, I will still pull for the Jackets Wednesday, whether they be players, coaches, fans, students, boosters, or Swarm posters---who are ALL stakeholders---not just the players.

Why would you tell grads of GT and supporters of the football program that their opinion on the uniform doesn't matter? Since when?

I thin the blue jersey is fine, always have liked them. Just a different color pants. Nothing is more hideous than a game uniform all of one color. Clemson's all orange is a monstrosity, though the jersey, or the pants, pair with a contrasting school color, look great. That of course is figurative as opposed to literal I suppose.

Ugly Xmas sweaters rock btw, but our uni designs with the pointy stripes are tacky. Thats not negativity, but we can disagree.

This is an internet forum. The same forum where yourself voiced your opinion about the PA announcer being terrible, which I agree with personally. But saying if you don't like something then keep it to yourself is pretty ironic.

Some people like the unis, some don't.

If everyone is so upset about these (absolutely sweet) uniforms, stop wasting breath and cut some checks.

Money talks, Bs walks. But odds are if you’re apoplectic on GT Swarm about unis, you’re probably not cutting big enough checks.

Face it, most kids we recruit have no appreciation for GT tradition. Mostly because current recruits were born 10 years after our last NC. No point in living in the past, GT needs to be cool and this is how you do it.

Like I said many threads ago, the current taste makers of my generation are not 60+ year old white dudes living in Augusta, Marietta or Kennesaw. So if you are one of these guys and you DONT like the uniform, odds are the Addidas boys are doing something right ;)

Adidas has some really good looking designs, not sure what happened with our templates.
