C'mon Mike, snap out of it and get back on board ...

Our younger fans haven't been through this before. We need to remember this. I remember the "should we drop FB" discussions during the dark days. These are starting to resemble those but the point is this is not a new thing for GT athletics. At least when Ross was taking his lumps we had Coach Cremins and BB making the winter exciting.

Counterpoint, declaring LJ the clear #1 puts us in the same position we are currently in due to LJ's injury. LJ was injured before the Temple game, which TO then started. JG played because TO was turning the ball over and generally not scoring against Temple. Coupled with evidence that indicates the staff clearly does not see TO as a QB, JG is probably still the starter vs UNC even if LJ is named the starter week 1.

Then Graham would have gotten even fewer reps than he did, and would have been less ready to take over for LJ and TO

What feels good is other then UVA and UGA there’s no guaranteed losses left imo.
I hear what you’re saying. I mean we were in the game most of the time Saturday. Anything could have happened that has us squeaking out a win. That said, it just doesn’t feel right. Maybe one win changes my mind. Maybe it’s Saturday, but I’m guessing we lose quite a few before we snag a W

And we get at least 3x as many wins next year as we do this year.

Well, Miami (2-3) is the only team on our 2020 schedule right now who has a losing record. I wouldn't be surprised if we end up facing 8-10 teams next year who had 8+ wins this year.
UNC, and VT aren’t that great right now either imo.

Yes, and bring stech back on board, too.
I'm here just don't see it this year , love Tech wouldn't be a season ticket holder for 38 years if I didn't love Tech. I'm really happy with all the coaches but P'nut. It's just this is the 3rd time I have seen us this bad 1981 , 1994 and now. I was fine in 1981 because I loved Bill Curry , 1994 I was ready to see B** L**** go. I remember one day about 2 weeks before he got fired the owner of the company I was working for called me in his office . He was a big Tech guy and supporter ( money wise had a box on the 50 and bought over 50 other season tickets not in the box. Also bought tickets from some of the …… well lets say if you got one of these you could sit next to players family's > this was in the early 80's not now) he asked me what I thought about B** L****. I told him and said yes he thought the same thing he was going to make a few calls and tell them ( I did not know you them was ) how much money he could give and see if that would help. The next day he called me back in his office smiled and said it was done and they would not wait till the end of the season.
So now you know a little of my story and to tell the truth I have been a season ticket holder for 38 years but from 1981 to 1996 the owner of this company paid for my season tickets. Great guy if I remember right he passed in 2004.

Best chance is UM because they suck. However, I think we can still play to win NC St, VT, and UM easily. Pitt, UVA, Duke, and Ugag is tough. Most wins this season possible IMO is 6 and that's if ALL goes our way, which isn't likely. But for the prediction threads, I'll keep betting on us, cuz I am me! Go Jackets!!

Remaining Games and current (too early) PPDvsPwr5:
.............DiffPPD ....... Off PPD ....... Def PPD
Duke .....#40 .............. #52 ............... #35
d'oh U ....#48 ............. #40 ............... #59
Pitt .........#47 ............. #70 ................ #26
uva ......... #20 ............ #17 ................. #27
vpi .......... #51 ............. #41 ................. #63
ncst ......... #71 ............. #69 ................ #65
georgie ......#5 ............. #8 .................. #5

We are #77, #71, #73. Our numbers vs CU and unc seem similar to ncst vs FSU and WVu. However, they beat ECar, WCar, and Ball St handily.

I haven't seen enough on the field for me to think there's a rational basis to predict a win this season, but we've got juice. With juice, maybe the magic happens and we beat Duke this week. Go Jackets
