Yeah, the obsession with this guy is weird.
If you were married for 3 1/2 years and your wife (a) spent the whole time bragging about what an elite wife she was, (b) spent an inordinate amount of time complaining about the house she had to move into, (c) did everything she could to make sure no one wanted to visit your house while she was there, (d) did nothing to improve the home but rather made it less desirable, (e) left you further in debt when she left, and (f) after she left she spent time on social media complaining about how bad you and your friends were, you would probably feel the same about her for quite a while. You could enjoy your new wife while still remembering what a witch your previous wife was.😁

Not to mention that is was an arranged marriage that you had strong reservations about but everyone told you it was for your own good. 🤪

Is complete lack of self awareness a blessing or a curse? I remain undecided on this important topic as I can see both sides of the coin.
They say ignorance is bliss...but I believe it's only bliss for a moment...And only for ignorant one. Reality always comes home to roost, and most of us aren't truly unaware - we're just too proud to admit to ourselves the reality of the situation.

You could see in TFGs demeanor when he finally began to realize that it was going south. The problem is that the fan base, the media, and the admin had been in agreement for quite some time that he was the problem.

One with aspirations of being the next head coach. It's delusional to us, but I guarantee that clown thought he would be successful and would be named Browns successor.
At the very least, he needed to get it on his resume that he was a DC at major school with a national championship winning head coach. Yeah, in order, I think he thought:

1. Brown and I will turn this program around.
2. Worst case they elevate me to head coach.
3. My resume just gets better and better.

Of course, he was also probably a little desperate to find a team that would take him.

Remember this guy? He always said he would be unwilling to join any club that would accept him as a member. TFG should have borrowed this strategy.

Oh, wait...you are going to remind me about the additional $2 mil he pocketed aren't you? :banghead::banghead::banghead:

On point.

As many have stated, he doesn’t need the money. At least right now. This was about future investment and salvaging his elite reputation.

I think Groucho's best on Collin s would be:

"Those are my principles.

If you don't like them … well, I have others."

That's TFG to the flesh.
