No. 10 seeds have won 39.2 percent of the time with a record of 47-73. LSU (1987), Texas (1990), Temple (1991), Providence (1997), Gonzaga (1999), Kent State (2002) and Davidson (2008) advanced to the Elite 8 as No. 10 seeds. A No. 10 seed has never appeared in the Final Four.Did some research and found this:
Teams within a conference that have played three times in the regular season cannot meet before the regional final (Elite Eight). If two teams have played twice during the season, they cannot meet before the regional semifinal (Sweet Sixteen). That rule applies to non-conference matchups as well.
Since we only play Miami once, I think this would be fine
One of the most notable No. 10 seeds is the 2008 Davidson team that featured Stephen Curry.
If you remember, 1987 was the year we were a No. 7 seed and lost to No. 10 seed LSU in our 1st round game.
