Way too early projections.....we need to see what our freshmen pitchers can do for us......I think we can be higher than a #3 seed. IF WE HAVE A BIG BOOST FROM OUR FROSH PITCHERS

Agree way too soon for brackets. Also, I expect our Fr pitchers to take a while to adjust. So I have no intention of freaking out if they don't do well for the first half of the season. But we have so many pitchers that some will show themselves by the half way point. And then we'll see a lot more of them.

It's one thing I like about baseball, you put in the guys who are hot and ride them.

Kel Johnson named to Golden Spikes Award watch list by @USABaseball | http://buzz.gt/KelGoldenSpikes

Here's a College Baseball Central piece on Kel. He is eligible this year for the draft, but with two more years, I would expect he will stay one more. The MLB will still have to pay for him as a Jr instead of the Sr indentured servitude. But I don't get the hype given how Kel's batting average plummeted last year and again in the summer. He needs to prove that he can overcome the book on him which the opposing pitchers have. Hope he does. http://collegebaseballcentral.com/college-baseball-countdown-11-days-to-go-kel-johnson/12874/
