It sounds like the Falcons are going to look first at Reggie Davis and Marvin Hall to fill the WR vacancies opened up by Free Agency.
don't we wish........most mocks have him gone long before that. Here's the latest CBS Sports Mock NFL Draft. They have the Falcons drafting Alabama DT Da'Ron Payne with the 26th pick of the 1st round.

I think the stupidest prediction i've seen was Mel Kiper on ESPN predicting the Falcons would draft Alabama WR Calvin Ridley with the 26th pick of the 1st rounddon't we wish........most mocks have him gone long before that.

I also expected Bryan to be the pick but Ridley will contribute immediately, maybe better than gabriel.it will be interesting to see how they cover this calculated risk for the gaping hole at DT. maybe the stanford guy if available. I think if i had done my own 1 round mock draft, i may have missed all 32 which still could be competitive with mock predictions...The Falcons have drafted Alabama WR Calvin Ridley with the 26th pick of the 1st round. The Falcons have found Julio Jones successor as top WR on the Falcons and he will take a lot of pressure off of Julio Jones. I would rather have had the Falcons draft Florida DT Taven Bryan however.
With Calvin Ridley i think the Falcons found another Roddy White. I think the Falcons take a DT in the 2nd round and in the proceeding rounds.I also expected Bryan to be the pick but Ridley will contribute immediately, maybe better than gabriel.it will be interesting to see how they cover this calculated risk for the gaping hole at DT. maybe the stanford guy if available. You could certainly be right.Double dipping at that position might be a good idea. I hope the usa today R2 mock is way off since they predict 4 more DT's picked b4 the falcons get one at 58 ......https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...-england-patriots-qb-mason-rudolph/557151002/With Calvin Ridley i think the Falcons found another Roddy White. The Falcons need a good defensive and offensive lineman. I think there's a good chance the Falcons will get a defensive lineman and offensive lineman by free agencyYou could certainly be right.Double dipping at that position might be a good idea. They got the OL starter in march for 3yr/$12.75 mil. blogs say they're still looking for backups but the DL spot is the only one i know where they're likely looking for an immediate starter .I haven't been keeping up with FA's (cuz Suh already signed and they're tryin to save money for Ryan)...depth may be an issue but things could be a lot worse https://www.thefalcoholic.com/2018/...dified-the-falcons-draft-needs-nfl-draft-2018The Falcons need a good defensive and offensive lineman.
