Not sure I'm comfortable with the way the Braves keep winning, we consistently get outhit by our opponents, but seem to come up with the one big inning or one big dinger ...
This is either a good sign, holding the line until the offense comes back alive or a bad sign, will eventually catch-up to us.

Call me paranoid, but I really think the Nats are still a serious threat to win the NL East.
Acuna is in a funk and we haven't really hit on all cylinders after the All-Star break, this upcoming 4-game series is huge, glad we picked-up a game yesterday.
Looked up the pitching match-ups and they are epic ...
Thursday: Strausburg/Fried
Friday: Corbin/Keuchel
Saturday: Ross/Teheran
Sunday: Scherzer/Soroka

Call me paranoid, but I really think the Nats are still a serious threat to win the NL East.
Acuna is in a funk and we haven't really hit on all cylinders after the All-Star break, this upcoming 4-game series is huge, glad we picked-up a game yesterday.

I think you are a little paranoid. We are tied with Houston for the best record in baseball over the last 30 games (21-9), and tied with Washington for best over the last 20 (16-4). Washington is only 34-39 against teams over .500 and they have a tough remaining schedule with @St. Louis/@Minnesota/Cleveland. It's very possible that they catch us and it's not gonna be easy, but I like our chances to hold on.

Yes, Gaining 1 game tonight plus 1/2 tomoorow would work nicely. Then if we lost 3/4, the lead would still be 6.
winning 3/4 could get it to 10 but i won't hold my breath.

Seriously... team is saying Max is "full speed ahead" tonight. Will not be pitch count limited as he has been in previous 2 starts off IL. LOOKING FORWARD deGrom v Max here in northern Va. Must see TV tonight.
