This. Bullpen. Completely. Sucks.

It must be in the water cause the 3 new guys have been just as craptastic as everybody else in the pen. No lead is safe with this bunch.

What has happened to bullpen guys in MLB? A few years ago it seemed like every pen was full of specialist for different situations and now it seems like the majority of teams are putting guys out there that are throwing batting practice.

Mets sign Joe Panik. They actually want to get better, now.

Speaking of panic, musical closers make it seem like the Braves are going right down that very path. Does anyone know their role in the bullpen? They all pitch in different innings. Not giving them an added excuse. Paid to get people out, no matter when.

Last night had to be the worst loss of the season, considering the opponent. They win 2 of 3 in Minnesota and look horrid in losing 2 out of 3 in Miami. Score 3 in the 8th of a scoreless game. Fish got 2 back and strand 3. Atlanta gets 3 more, then chokes up 4 in the bottom of the 9th. Blow it in the 10th. Absolutely bad, poor mental baseball.

The sad thing is after that trade that was supposed to make the Braves bullpen so much better all that seems to have happened is that it made the bullpen worse than it was before:grumpy::sour::cry::arghh:

You are right. As happy as I was to think it couldn’t hurt(it will salary-wise next year, if Greene & Melancon don’t produce), it has tied up any thought of bringing Minter, Parsons, Sobotka, back up. Can’t believe I’m even having those thoughts.

Heard anything new on Jacob Webb and his right arm inflammation?

The radio announcer for Atlanta(Powell?)said to Simpson, wonder what the guys in the bullpen are thinking? I thought to myself, “please don’t put me/them in today.”

A walk, a bunt, a hit, a run. Tied up. Another hit, 3-1, Fish.
