The Marlins lead the Braves 6-5 in the 6th inning
The defense has been great and Ronald Acuna is hitting like Dale Murphy did 1982-1983 in my opinionTo me Camargo is a key element to the success of the lineup. We know what most of the others can do. Culberson is hitting for average and power more than he ever has and Swanson is like .65 below last year when he was over .300. So they balance each other out. Duvall hasn’t been needed, yet. However, Johan in the 5th spot has protected Nick and ultimately helped Freddie by making the opposition know you have to pitch to the middle of the order. And Camargo is at .268 with a higher average since moving up in the order.
I’m impressed with our defense, which keeps helping the young pitchers.
Ronald Acuna is the first player since Willie Mays in 1954 to hit lead off homers in 5 games in one season.
I'd let the Reds have Duvall back for a couple of minor league pitchersAnd don't forget about Inciarte, he's come back around as well ... can we just give Duvall back to the Reds ??
