We just tied up the relief budget with Melancon and his 14m.
Greene gets paid a few more million.

The tied up team budget is still under 50m.
Should be able to spend some.

Looking ahead to the offseason, there are several moves that have to be made. In a perfect world, the Braves would trade for Felipe Vazquez and send Wright, Camargo, Touissant, Minter, and Jenista to the Pirates. We would sign Bumgarner to a 3 or 4 year deal at $18-22 million a year. Donaldson would be re-signed as well and Riley would start out in a platoon with Ender next year.

The rotation would be Soroka, Bumgarner, Fried, Folty, and Teheran with Wilson and Newk being the extra options.

The lineup would be pretty much the exact same as this year with maybe Pache or Waters taking over for Kakes mid way through the year. And Alex Jackson will be the second catcher behind McCann.

The pen would hopefully be cleaned up with the Vazquez addition and we could go with Melancon, Greene, and Vazquez at the end of the game. Newk and Webb would become middle relievers that could also pitch late in the games.

It would definitely make the Braves a WS team. It also wouldn't cost a lot of money which would make Liberty happy.

The one thing I left out is that the Braves would need to find another super utility player to replace Camargo. I don't know who that would be, but they are no shortage of those types of players so it shouldn't be a problem to find one cheap.
