Can Tom Hanks close some games out? He was the Manager in A League of our Own, wasn’t he?
When I think of our Bullpen “sweet” doesn’t necessarily come to mind, like delicious chocolates. Oil, gas fires, explosions, losing leads, blowing holds and saves. Awaiting our comeback kids to get back up the next inning to the plate.
I don’t trust FNS. He would be more suited to take the ball in the seventh inning. He always walks someone to start the ninth. I do admire him for going to the post and filling a role we only have a “sweet chocolate Mint-er” to share with that late in the eve.

The 37-47 Mets only lead the last place in the NL East 32-49 Marlins by 3.5 games. I think the Marlins will finish 2019 in 4th place and the Mets will finish in 5th place.

This has been the most fun watching a Braves season in a very long time for me.The entire line up is just clutch. B2b bombs in the 8th, how sweet is that. Just need more pitching.

If i were Liberty i would call Fred Wilpon the owner of the Mets and see what he would want for Mets starter Noah Syndergaard and i would also talk to the Tigers about closer Shane Greene

Bad news. Anthony Swarzak, the glue holding the middle relief together(with Newk.), has been placed on the IL for 10 days with right shoulder inflammation. It troubled him in Spring Training. Chad Sobotka has been recalled.

The Gwinnett Stripers have the worst attendance in the International League. I think being so close to Atlanta is killing them and they would be better off if they were moved somewhere else.
