Amen, Brother! Desperately seeking a closer. Minter should be coming back up, soon. The less we see of the Bullpen, the better!! Keuchel eventually can go deep into games. Soroka is showing how he can go eight frames. If Folty can find his groove, he can pitch late into the contests.

The Braves have agreed to terms with their first-round (ninth overall) selection Shea Langeliersand will pay the 21-year-old catcher a $4MM bonus, reports Jon Heyman of the MLB Network. The deal allows Atlanta to save a notable chunk of funds in its overall draft pool, as the ninth overall pick carries a recommended slot price of $4,949,100.

With the addition of Keuchel and the resurgence of Julio, we still need either Gausman or Folty to figure it out.

no joke. i'm not certain this "trial by error" will work to find a closer. rooting for jackson to succeed but i dunno.
if there's no trade maybe Newk,Tooki,Folty and Gaussman will get a shot ....

Wow nice rhubarb between Josh Donaldson and Pirates pitcher Joe Musgrove which resulted in both of them being thrown out. No reason for Musgrove to have hit Donaldson.
