A little off topic but a couple of posts have alluded to rule changes that have juiced up the passing game, even favoring OL who are clearly holding on pass plays. I agree that at times it feels more like flag football.
Do any of you remember when defensive struggles were considered exciting football? In the 70s I remember tuning in to the radio to listen to an undefeated LSU team take on an undefeated Notre Dame team. Game ended 3-0 and it was one of the most exciting games I’ve ever listened to.
