LOL, just saw I missed the “not” in “he’s not Stetson Bennett.” Big typo. Ha!King has a diploma. Bennett has years of college and a police record.
There's a big difference.

Did Juanyeh get one?Watching old man Bennett throw 4 picks to Dallas 3rd stringers yesterday was a lot more enjoyable than watching another Braves implosion, but I digress…

Juanyeh did not have an INT. Jordan Mason was 6 carries for 34 yards and a TD for the 49'ers.
Much more impressive!FTFY
Yeah, what he said!FTFY
You are assuming that Pyron can hold the position from the 2 guys we brought in this year. Both are very talented. If King has the type of year a lot of us expect and he has any NFL aspirations, then he will likely leave after this year. He does have the Covid additional year of eligibility, but sticking around for another year would mean his age would likely become a factor in how high he would get drafted.
His decision will also affect Pyron. If King does decide to come back for an additional year I suspect that Pyron would jump into the portal. If King leaves, that would give Pyron 2 years to start (or 1 if he too excels and is high on the draft board).

Hopefully we play a game or three where we have the luxury of playing Pyron a good bit.I believe Pyron is #2 this year and next is totally unknown.
I would like to see Pyron each game for a couple of possessions with Rutherford, J Haynes, and Singleton or Lane on the field to primarily run the ball mixing up the "new" triple option where Pyron either hands to J Haynes, runs himself, or tosses to the speedsters outside. This would affect the other teams we play as to how they have to prepare for both QBs. We were luckly last season with H King playing almost all of the downs and a litle relief could be helpful. I have every confidence that Pyron could be effective in a heavy run attack using his legs as well as our RBs and throwing in an occasional pass..
I think Pyron very convincingly proved himself to be a capable starting QB in 2022. I think he’s got the job whenever Haynes graduates or heads to the league. You are assuming that Pyron can hold the position from the 2 guys we brought in this year. Both are very talented.
