Holy ****, the NCAA is so dumb.

I've watched a video interview with Nolley from way back where he was super proud of his score. They need to let this kid play.

That is the dumbest thing, I've ever heard. " You didn't do the best in school so we don't believe you could study like crazy to get a good score on a standardized test... obviously you cheated bc we think you're dumb."

What I want for Christmas is to see all these hacks running the NCAA out of a job or behind bars for corruption.

Wasn’t really impressed with Syracuse tonight but they were really unlucky to face a UConn team who nailed shots 5 feet outside the NBA 3 line every time down the court. Cuse offense was stagnant every time.

Yea... Syracuse is not top 25 right now. Too many made too much out of the tournament last year.

That said, Syracuse is unquestionably better than last year when Frank Howard returns. Battle playing point guard does not work in any way shape or form. But, run that game back 10 times without Howard, Syracuse wins it 7 times. UConn won't repeat those threes again.

Can you explain that offense? Sidibe with a tow strap attached to Dolezaj setting double screens away from the ball while Carey or Battle plays one on one of the other side of the court? It was.....strange.

There was also multiple instances where all five Syracuse players were in the same side of the basket line. They just looked completely out of sorts.

No, I cannot explain it. Nor can I explain Brissett wildly throwing the ball at the backboard.

But I can guess that, without a point guard - Howard and Washington both missed preseason, as did Carey - and Carey is a combo guard, you arrive at a bunch of iso, 1-on-1. Don't get me wrong, Boeheim likes that kind of game, but it's meant to at least start with high ball screens, screen downs, etc. to at least start the offense. Syracuse looked disjointed in the first two games as well.

What I can say for certain is Danny Hurley has a really punchable face. He's basically Laettner + Reddick + Marshall Henderson + Tom Crean wrapped into one on the sideline.

His last name is Hurley. That's enough. (though I hate how much Jose's game reminds me of his brother's)
