CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) It's called the transitive property of inequality, a fancy way of saying that if A is greater than B, and B is greater than C, then A must be greater than C.
Works in math. Not in the Atlantic Coast Conference's Coastal Division.

Meet the top remaining contenders for the ACC's Coastal title Duke (4-1 in league play), Georgia Tech (5-2) and Miami (3-2). Now, check if the transitive property applies:

- Duke beat Georgia Tech.

- Georgia Tech beat Miami.

- So ... Miami beat Duke.

If SI thought Flukies were for real, the Coastal race would be over in their opinion. We can only hope; and beat Clemson. Only good things come from beating Clemson and only bad things come from losing.

Worry about the things you can control. We will have an opponent in front of us in two days. We all like to look down the road and forecast final season records, rankings, or ACCCG appearances etc. The way I look at it, beating CLimpsum is a major season goal all in itself, regardless of the other stuff. If we can win, we will be sitting at 9-2 having beaten all 3 teams that have given us fits the last few years. This game is HUGE in my mind, for its own sake.
