He'll be expected to hold down one starting DE slot, and make a lot of plays
I wonder what the GT record for sacks in a single season is?I'm thinking double digit sacks for him this year.

ThanksAccording the official GT Athletics website, it's...15, Pat Swilling, 1985
In one game, 7, Pat Swilling vs NC State (1985)
For a career, it's 31, Greg Gathers (1999-2002)
I really look forward to seeing what Branch can do at his natural position in an attacking D. He was pretty good playing inside, but it was obvious (to me, at least) that he couldn't use his speed and flexibility to maximum advantage at DT. I expect good things to happen from moving him outside.
I thought that Attaochu broke the record by .5 a sack.According the official GT Athletics website, it's...15, Pat Swilling, 1985

They probably have been in the annual guide. Not sure why they have not been online.Ah, now I see printed at the top of the page saying the records are through the 2006 season. Wonder why they've not been updated?
I think Gathers did it in only three years. He had to give up his last year of football for medical reasons.According the official GT Athletics website, it's...15, Pat Swilling, 1985
