You're talking 12-13, I highly doubt CBK takes anywhere near that many portal guys as much as he believes in the locker room/culture etc and with what he has said about getting the right fits etc. There are coaches that build teams out of the portal so to speak, CBK is not that type. We have some players already here that I am expecting some to step fwd. I just don't have any idea who and what positions. We are a developmental program.

I really hope Haynes King can recover and play another year. Kid is a flat out gamer and we need him. His shoulder seems very injured though. We’ve got a great backup option in Philo, but I feel like our best chances at a special season lie in King right now.

Haven’t kept up with our kicker recruitment, but Lucas Carneiro looks interesting. Just made another from 54 tonight, made 15 straight, only missed one kick all year.

Maybe not. By my count we took about 15-16 last year, which I thought was a light year because we had so many returning starters. We absolutely have to take defensive guys, mainly linemen, because we literally don’t have any depth there. I’m all about building from within if the pieces are there. If you wanna compete in today’s CFB landscape, you have to get portal guys. It’s just how it is.
