Leo Blackburn (grad transfer)... will always be thinking what could have been. Hope he is healthy and gets on the field to show what he can do wherever he lands.

This was a forgone conclusion for me after spending many Saturday’s with his family this year. Great kid with great family support. Glad he got to reach paydirt atleast once on The Flats.

I just have to ask why? This program is on the rocket express up. I will never get this other than a pure money grab. Does anyone not want to finish the job anymore?

Sorry, just my $.02 worth.
Guys graduate and may want a different college experience. Others want playing time. Lots of good reasons. Some are likely due to the pain of GT academics. Even with all the help players get they still have to do the classroom work which is not all that easy.

Corey was in a 60-40 playing time split with Jordan Brown the first half of the year and Ethan Mackenny second half of the year. I'd think he could be a Day 1-2 pick with more visibility and 100% playing time. Not sure we'd give 100% to him though with Mackenny and Petty on the bench next year.
Corey Robinson having to split time with Jordan Brown through the first 5 games was the most peculiar personnel decision all season. I guess it took 5 games to realize it, because Brown never played another snap after Louisville.

I would love to find someone either internally or externally that can snap the ball correctly on FG attempts. This year was painful to watch. Same for kickoff retuner. It used to be that our kickoff team was painful to watch. We have flipped that script imo. I'd also like our FG kicker to return to his previous form or find someone that is consistent and is automatic within 40 yards. Maybe a P who can kick with more hang time. In typing this I realized that we improved miles both offensively and defensively and next year I hope we do the same with ST's. It's gotta happen to keep taking that next step forward.

I don't agree with the Geoff Collins statement. I think it has been long enough that people know the difference. I think the deciding point comes down to 2 things, money and ability to get into the NFL. We have so few players get into the NFL compared to other teams that will definitely weigh in on a player's mindset if their goal is to get to the NFL. The degree doesn't have much sway for most top talented players.
I have many people ask me “you still running the triple option?”...here in SFLA..... 3-9 still is attached as well.....Fill the stadium and win 9-10 next year and the needle will move

We really like stacking up on tight ends… I see we have an eye for the run blocker type. Let’s see if go for a pass catching TE.
