How does David define "Strength of Record"? I assume it factors in W/L record with SoS somehow. SoS can be somewhat subjective if you start the season with it preloaded.
Thanks and interesting. I love there are over 250 possibilities in the Big 12Indiana is probably still on the list.

Big 12 is a mess
Tennessee is probably in the CFP now, unless Vandy steps up
He brings out the best in others?UNC's elite defense held BC to only theirlowesthighest score of the season against FBS teams.
I do not care what the mutts do in the SECCG or playoffs if I am driving home from Athens a Victor on Friday night. Here's a fun hypothetical.
We beat the Pups in Athens next Friday to "knock them out of the playoffs." But then they beat Texas or Texas A&M in the SEC Championship Game and win the SEC auto-bid. How do you emotionally react to this? I think I would be okay with this scenario in any combo as long as it does not lead to a national championship win.
I hear u but a loss to us plus a loss in SECCG likely would mean they are out which sounds niceI do not care what the mutts do in the SECCG or playoffs if I am driving home from Athens a Victor on Friday night.
Kansas has pretty much done it 3 straight weeks. so its possibleDid anybody else do something as stupid as I did? I stayed up through 4 overtimes (or was it 40?) pulling hard for Texas A&M to win. Rarely do I sit through an SEC game and I almost never pull for one SEC team against another. But I knew if Texas A&M went down it would put jawjuh back in the driver’s seat. Not ever wasting my time again on that or allowing myself to get emotionally involved.
Auburn reminds me of where so many teams are in college football. A team can have talent but have some glaring weakness that sabotages their effort. It might be kicking and special teams, it might be being prone to turnovers and penalties, or it might be having a subpar OL or DL. These teams will lose lots of games but under the right circumstances they can put together one or two excellent games and compete with almost anyone.
Tech did that with Miami. I fear it’s too much to ask for them to turn around and do that again.
I was at that game. Everyone was wondering, “Who are these players wearing AU uniforms.”Did anybody else do something as stupid as I did? I guessed you were at the game. Too bad you left early. The really interesting part happened while you were walking to your car. For some reason (desperation perhaps) the conservative play calling was ditched for trying to win.I was at that game. Everyone was wondering, “Who are these players wearing AU uniforms.”
I left with 2 minutes to go. The crowd was booing the conservative play calling being behind at the time. I was shocked to the max to make it home and hear AU won!
AU is very talented. The receiver corps is extremely good and did well with big plays. It reminded me of Tennessee in the 80s.
I was at the Ala-Missouri game and told my host that if this Bama team plays, AU can beat them.
Game day coaching still matters. I think Freeze is a terrific recruiter. But his game day coaching is very questionable. Still.
This is the same method kg uses for recruiting commitments.....I personally won’t even have a guess until all the games are played
I thought clempson fans only lived in Anderson County.David Hale lives in Charlotte. Maybe he has Clemson grads as neighbors.
It's not zero. But close to it.Zero chance for 3 ACC teams in the CFP
I did the exact same thing, except I have always liked Awburn and wanted them to win. I did not realized it would benefit the dwags though.Did anybody else do something as stupid as I did? Yes it would be, but I won't be greedyI hear u but a loss to us plus a loss in SECCG likely would mean they are out which sounds nice
I watched it. It was a great game. I also was pulling for the Aggies but so be it. I lost my bet.Did anybody else do something as stupid as I did? SMU and Miami are the best bets on that list. Clemson and Louisville are meh bets. Don't bet on the others unless you have cash to throw away.best case scenario of ACC next week would be
SMU beats Cal
Miami beats Syracuse
Clemson beats SCe
GT beats UGA
L'ville beats KY
USC beats ND
Vandy beats TN
