Here's a fun hypothetical.

We beat the Pups in Athens next Friday to "knock them out of the playoffs." But then they beat Texas or Texas A&M in the SEC Championship Game and win the SEC auto-bid. How do you emotionally react to this? I think I would be okay with this scenario in any combo as long as it does not lead to a national championship win.

Looks like VT is going to drop their game in Durham this evening. If Miami takes care of business next week @Syracuse, we will open the divisionless ACC era with 2 Top 5 finishes. Louisville is the only other program to finish Top 5 both seasons (2nd in 2023, 4th in 2024).
