Kennard and Ivey have a combined 17.5 sacks this season. That would have been absolutely huge for us to still have them, we have 14 total as a team.
This wont go over well with my wife as these were the players she picked as favorites. Portal nil is killing her way of watching.

Now she likes 27 Alexander but he doesnt play as much.

Yeah. There was a “shady” line on a 3-6 or 4-6 Kansas team against BYU in Provo. Was just -3 for BYU. Kansas won outright.

Yup. BYU was also a small underdog in Orlando to a UCF team with a losing record. The line begged for BYU action, but in this case, BYU rolled UCF.

It’s been an interesting season.

Posted this in the wrong thread:

Anybody watching Stanford-Louisville?

Tie game, 10 secs. Ville goes on 4th at Furd 45 and misses. 5 secs left. Furd tosses a quick out at the 50 and calls TO, but Lville commits a PF. Ball on the Ville 40 with 1 sec left… 57 yard FG. Ville jumps offside!!! Ball on 35, now 52 yards. Furd kicker hits it and Furd wins. Ha!!’
Not many folks on here know Furd

After 20+ years, I’ve learned to abstain from what I call ‘shady’ lines.

TAMU is favored by 2.5 points at Auburn. That’s a shady line IMO. It screams bet me on TAMU. I would not be in the least bit surprised to see Auburn pull this out.

(In contrast, Texas is favored by 20 over Kentucky which sounds about right)
This is why I don't think a big logjam at the top of the SEC isn't out of the question.

I believe all of those 2-loss teams are vulnerable in the last 2 weeks of the season. And I would not bet on any team right now to be its conference champ.

As I wrote earlier, A&M and Texas could both lose, and one certainly will. Alabama has lost to Auburn in the past when no one expected it. After watching them yesterday, I believe Tennessee should be worried about Vandy. And I am hoping we can beat uga. Is any of this reasonable? Your guess is as good as mine.

Sheesh, more cfb coaching messiness. If my brief glance thorough and exhaustive research is accurate, FAU just fired Tom Herman (remember him?) after 2 seasons and a 6-16 record.

Messy because they apparently re-hired the DC he just fired like 2 weeks ago.

Mack Brown says he is not retiring and plans to coach UNC in 2025.
UNC fans are mostly not pleased with the news.

^ Oh no, the dreaded “I am not leaving until things are turned around “ response. This usually does not end well.

He'll probably fire his defensive coordinator as a
public gesture. Who knows if it will help.......
Oh no!!! I think he's a great DC and should be considered for the HC job when Brown retires. He tackled the toughest rebuild in the history of college football prior helping restore the UNC program. He's the dude for the job.

More from my UNC neighbor:

"If the rich donors want a better team they can buy one. If they want a better coach they can pay Mack to leave, and pay Andy Reed to leave Kansas City and come to Chapel Hill. Everything in college football is possible if you have the money. For my money Mack is good enough, and should go out on his own terms."
