I like that line about something needs to be done about Georgia Tech. We used to schedule by weeks before games with Paul Johnson, but that probably won't work and we need to figure out how to neutralize Brent Key to make it fair for the erst of the league.

Who knew Clemp was going to tank so fast? We'd have been stuck with a perennial 6th place ACC team on our schedule. They sucked off a disproportionate share of the ACC booty this year. Should have allocated the $$ by conference standings like they wanted.

Clemson finished 6th once. They might be back in the ACCCG next season with the talent they have.

Batt made the right call if we are playoff hunting.

Why should we play Clemson every year when the rest of the conference doesn’t? Why should we play UGA every year when the rest of their conference doesn’t.

Clemson has the same problem Saban had, everybody's paying now so they can't stock their roster like they used to. With the transfer portal being the wild wild west, players not getting the playing time they were promised are going to move on.

Cleamson a historic 8-5 to 10-3 ACC Team. They'll be Top 2 probably every third year on average, but they're not going to be the annual top team in the ACC anymore with an SEC style "win the 1 game against the other competitor" then march into the ACC Championship game and get your playoff spot team any more.

You hope at some point we get a little more reasonable out of conference schedule. 2 more games against Top Ten opponents.

All 11 NCAA Division I FBS teams that Tech faces in 2024 earned bowl berths in 2023, and the Jackets’ schedule is ranked as the sixth-toughest in the nation by both ESPN and 247Sports (and this is without us playing Clemson which is ranked in all polls).

ESPN: GA #1, Notre Dame #10, FSU #16, NC State #20, Louisville #22;
USA: GA #1, Notre Dame #6, FSU #18, NC St #21, VT #25;
Composite Top 25 (from Sporting News): GA #1, Notre Dame #8, FSU #18, Louisville #23, NC St #24.

Next year we go to Colorado which is an unknown.. It will be interesting to see what kind of team Prime has in Year 3 (if he is still there).

I hope with as hard a schedule we have this year at least we have them in an advantageous order with good bye weeks. We’ll see on Thursday
