AGREE with the starved analogy. The Friday opener isn’t the worst thing in the world. Usually the team wouldn’t have a lot of eyes on it for a Friday evening game but people tend to be football starved at that point in the season. We will be the talk of the town on the most watched College GameDay of the season the next morning if we win with the new coach and look good doing it.
Syracuse is at BDS/GF in Atlanta, Ga. on Nov. 18, 2023. Saturday game.Hey does anybody know if Syracuse is a home game? I'm not sure it's been mentioned
Bowling Green isn't P5Seems to be better imo. A lower teir P5 (BG), a (hopefully) easy win (SC state), and a good mix of ACC programs (maybe wins wins - Syracuse, UVA, BC, WF (no Hartman), Toss ups - UNC, Miami, Louisville, probable loss - Clemson) and some tough SEC Teams (uGA, Ole Miss).
Mistake, meant G5Bowling Green isn't P5
That weekend has been more likely in the past. Last year was an outlier. Most likely, only other semi feasible option would be UNC on the 28th
I hope we secure a bowl before this game but Cuse could be a huge game for the program to get over that hump.Syracuse is at BDS/GF in Atlanta, Ga. on Nov. 18, 2023. Saturday game.
I know they're viewed as 'second tier', but I love Thursday night games. Campus was always special, and I can't help separate the memories. Plus, it's like opening a present early, and Saturdays after are stress-free.Is this the first season without a Thursday night game in a while?
It's not how good u r.Better than last yr but still a real challenge for a winning season.
The other team that liked thurs games was VT and the ACC decided our series wasn’t worth continuing on an annual basis due to our strong 2 game history with Louisville and historic rivalry with wake forestIs this the first season without a Thursday night game in a while?
