Makes sense, well deserved. I think Chandler was the most impactful player on our team last year. If he hadn't been hurt, we probably would have hosted. If we hadn't had him, we wouldn't have made the NCAAs.

Parada has the bigger bat which is what the MLB wants. But Chandler will just get on and alter the game with his speed.

13 of top 30 were HS. The youth premium is alive and well.

I hope to see him in their AAA team in Durham. TB is known to develop their players for the Rays so they must see him for high potential. Their current AAA team is built for speed more than power.

I would think out of HS the kid wouldn't draft for $500K. If they over slot him sure, but I would be it has to be CHUNKY

That's usually the case and probably explains why Rubenstein is playing in the Cape.

Yeah, if you look on the mlb draft tracker and check Best Available, you see tons of very highly ranked HS players still undrafted. Those are very likely ones like Parada, who indicated they were not signing and thus went undrafted. I imagine King let them know he was ready to sign before they picked.
