Who do y'all think will be Cinderella story of the upcoming 2020 football season and what coaching changes do y'all think will happen in 2020? I think North Carolina will surprise a lot of people and win the ACC Coastal Division in 2020. I think Coach Cutcliffe will retire as head coach of Duke when they have another losing season in 2020 and i think Dave Clawson leaves Wake Forest for Vanderbilt or Mississippi State following the 2020 season.

I think Clawson has proven himself to be worthy of a better job than Vandy or MSU. Those look like lateral moves to me fwiw.

I think we surprise some people. Big surge in 2020. Young team matures, transfers and freshmen impress. OL makes the biggest jump, from lower G-5 level to mid-ACC level. Cooper and Lee return. Clayton is a terror at DE. Gifted secondary learns to turn around and look for the ball. Overall size improves. Mason runs rampant. Ahmarean Brown makes like Bob Hayes. We win the Coastal.

If Coach Collins wins 6-7 games in 2020 he should be named ACC Coach of the Year

We beat Syracuse and Gardner-Webb, go 4-2 to win the Coastal, and win 6. Or 7.

It looks like the new redshirt rule may be history. I think the NCAA needs to go back to the old redshirt rule since the head coaches are manipulating the new rule.

The redshirt rule is fine and doesn’t need to be touched again IMO.

4 games always seemed like a lot to me, so I would make it 2 games. I would also add in that if a guy plays in 4 games, but gets hurt and doesn't play in more than 4 games, it would be an automatic RS (if he hasn't had one already) or a medical RS.

I really can’t understand why you think it’s cheating or bending rules when teams are within the rules? No rules were broken in any of the scenarios listed in the linked article. When I hear someone say “spirit of the rule” I laugh out loud. Human beings do not operate that way. 4 games is 4 games whether it’s the first 4, last 4 or any combo.
