Pretty cool read about seminal games for spread offenses:
BTW, caught a podcast a few weeks ago with former Ohio State/Green Bay Linebacker AJ Hawk. Hawk had Mike Leach on...who appears in quite a few games in the link above. Leach talks about the two "great" offenses he would run. First obviously, is the Air Raid which he runs to this day and has influenced football on every level. The second is the "wishbone" offense, but really the CPJ spread option offense as he names all teams that run it and eventually mentions Georgia Tech.

Fast forward to 29 minute mark. Leach rambles for a bit, but he talks about his defining principle of offenses (attacking space) and defenses (restricting space) which sets up why he thinks the Air Raid and CPJ's spread option are such great offenses. Also, he pretty much calls the "wishbone" unstoppable.
Oh, and for football X's and O's enthusiasts, Leach mentions he has given some thought about combining the Air Raid and "wishbone" but hasn't made it work yet. Yup, my dream offense still has hope...
