QB MJ Rivers of Illinois is the latest Illinois player who is leaving Champaign,Illinois. I wonder if he would consider coming to Georgia Tech to play for Geoff Collins?

I met Richt a few times. He was OK ... for a Mutt.
some other folks I know speak highly of him.
If he does provide analysis on Tech games, the new offense would probably more to his liking. If we had stayed triple, he would have been at a loss to explain anything, other than it beat him twice in Sanford Stadium and each time was the reason for one of Tech's great comebacks ever in football.

Not football but crazy news in Athens. UGA kid got impaled by a javelin at track practice. I'm sure you guys will get more details than my local paper provides. Sad for the guy, sounds like he's gonna pull through though so that's good.

Weird story out of UF ...

Apparently their top recruit, 5-star CB from CA, early-enrolled but is now transferring. Why? He was roommates with Jalon Jones who is alleged to have committed sexual assault or stte.

Sounds like the Steele kid had asked to change roommates before the incidents happened. Imagine what he saw going on that drove him to say, "Uh, I don't wanna be around this dude."

UF ignored his requests for several months. In the meantime, Jones' committed the alleged act(s) and now Steele is embroiled tangentially. He's not alleged to have done anything but, since he's the roommate, he'll surely be questioned and hassled for the next several months.

Just a mess.
