Standings heading into Friday 5/18-

1) UNC 20-8
2) Clem 20-8
3) NCST 18-10
4) Duke 17-10
5) LOU 16-12
6) FSU 15-12
7) MIA 15-13
8) GT 13-15
9) ND 12-16
10) WF 12-16
11) Pitt 11-17
12) UVA 11-17
————— Bottom 2 don’t make ACCT
VT and BC officially out

I believe the standings above are correct using the tiebreakers for any teams that are tied. Clemson and UNC tiebreaker comes down to record vs highest seeded common opponent—they both played NCST. UNC swept NCST, Clemson got swept by NCST. The other two tiebreakers used are easy since they both had head to head games (ND/WF and Pitt/UVA).
If I have my math/results right (so far) here on Friday.... Ga Tech is locked into an 8th place finish in the ACC no matter what happens in all games remaining today or tomorrow. By virtue of:
1) Ga Tech reaching 14 wins today with their smackdown of Duke...Geez!... still can't believe the offensive explosion.
2) Miami beat BC (Miami and 7th place or higher out of reach)
3) ND and Pitt both lost and cannot get to 14 wins. UVA cannot get to 14 wins. If WF does win out v UVA and get to 14 wins...we have the tiebreaker head to head with them...so, those 4 (ND, WF, Pitt, UVA) battle for 9th-12th.

Heading into Saturday’s games

1) UNC 21-8
2) Clem 21-8
3) NCST 18-11
4) Duke 17-11
5) LOU 17-12
6) FSU 16-12
7) MIA 16-13
8) GT 14-15
9) ND 12-17
9) WF 12-17
9) UVA 12-17
12) Pitt 11-18

@FredJacket is correct that we have locked down the 8 seed. So all we are waiting for is to see who will get the 1 seed and who will get the 12 seed. Right now it is Pitt for the 12th seed, but if Pitt wins today, there will be some tiebreaker rules to determine 10-12 or 11-12 (which I’m not gonna try to figure out all the possible scenarios right now). A Pitt win would also solidify Clemson at #2 and UNC at #1. Only way for UNC to not finish #1 is if Clemson wins and UNC loses today.

It is a shame his last year couldn't have been better from a team standpoint. Hell for that matter his last two years were head scratchers team wise.
There's a common thread over the last two years (more than that actually).

Not sayin', just sayin'.........
