As if COFH in the cesspool isn't bad enough...

And I was shocked and dismayed to find that "Dan Radokovich" is our AD again, as well as the fact that we line up in the shotgun. (I had to double check the date on the article.) Is journalism in LA really that bad, or do they not have internet?

Well thankfully the article wasn't about football but about the campus carry bill, and, holy crap, I hadn't thought about football games in relation to this bill's passing. Something really bad is going to happen sooner or later.

http://www.fromtherumbleseat.com/20...talent-is-becoming-problematic-recruiting-cfb

Paul Johnson has done an excellent job at Georgia Tech and his recruiting classes have been trending in the right direction lately. However, it is not unreasonable to expect the head coach of a consistent and successful ACC school to be able to pull in more than one blue chip player from his own state over the course of five seasons -- particularly when his state has one of the richest football cultures in the nation. It is quickly becoming commonplace for Georgia’s top athletes to leave home in favor of greener pastures, but it doesn’t seem like much is being done to ease the bleeding. This isn’t to say that Tech hasn’t performed well over the past few seasons, but rather that the program’s true ceiling cannot and will not be reached until the staff can effectively protect and recruit its own backyard. We’ve felt it so far in the form of depleted depth and lack of talent at key positions and will continue to feel it more in the future as rivals like Clemson take talent from the Atlanta area and use it to their own advantage. Paws off, Dabo.

Mechanical engineering PhD Robby Gill met Erin Breedlove on campus. She's a tutor in the Georgia Tech Athletic Department. Their love blossomed while Robby continued working towards his degree. Only a couple of weeks after the semester ended, Robby decided to pop the big question at the same place as their first date and Erin said yes, of course! Wishing you two joy and happiness! -- http://c.gatech.edu/2rBY3jy

Just announced game times for jax state at 12:30 And UCF at 7:30. Something has to be done about all these noon kickoffs for home games.
Why, why, why couldn't the Jax at game not be at 4 or better still 7?

I think the folks that set that time should be required to sit in the Upper East stands from kickoff through at least the 3rd quarter... Preferably naked.
. Okay they can cover their private parts... and without sunscreen. [emoji6]

Jax is on RSN - wasn't like Mercer last year where television was less of an issue.

You guys complaining about the heat need to stop complaining or stop going. When I was in school, it was always hot at the games. Upper East in the direct sun the whole time. Back then, the field was artificial turf, not natural grass.

1990 National Championship Season

1. Noon (NC State) HOME - 93 degrees
2. 1pm (Chattanooga) HOME - 82 degrees
3. 4pm (South Carolina) HOME - 79 degrees
4. Noon (Maryland) AWAY
5. Noon (Clemson) HOME - 75 degrees
6. 1:30pm (UNC) AWAY
7. Noon (Duke) HOME - 64 degrees
8. 2pm (Virginia) AWAY
9. 1pm (VPISU) HOME - 54 degrees (and windy as hell)
10. 1pm (Wake Forest) AWAY
11. 12:30pm (uga) AWAY
