When he took over at WK, they were the midst of a 26 game losing streak. He made them respectable.

The rebuild of South FL was impressive, and he did well recruiting south florida.

He also turned around the Ducks quickly (4-8 last year) despite losing his QB for a portion of the season.

I guess we will see soon enough, not much rebuilding to do at FSU, the athletes are there...

UT Chancellor Beverly Davenport's statement from Press Conference i'm paraphrasing here

1 She says she regrets the hurt this has caused
2 She's come to understand the love for Tennessee Athletics
3 She asked John Currie to return to Knoxville yesterday afternoon,that had nothing to do with any specific coach
4 High Expectations come with challenges and challenges come with tough decisions
5 She decided to make a change that is in the best interest. John Currie has been suspended and Phil Fulmer is AD
6 John Currie worked tirelessly and was given full authority to find a head football coach for Tennessee
7 Appreciate how supportive and respectful Phil Fulmer has been since she arrived. He understands the Athletic Department
8 Thanks to the Vol Nation for support and love of this University. Our goals are the same. We want a great football program. It's a source of pride for us.

Beverly Davenport was fighting back tears during the prepared statement.:rolleyes: She probably knows she may be the next to be fired.:LOL:
