Man I really don't think he's gonna fit in around here but it's gonna be hilarious watching people's reactions to his shenanigans. Leach isn't one to turn down money.

Good move on both parts IMO. Leach has an IDGAF personality so he doesn't care what this circus has been so far and he'll get the most talent he's ever had to work in his offense. Probably the highest ceiling coach they could've pulled out here.

At least Tennessee will have an exciting offense and they need a top notch DC like Auburn's Kevin Steele. Leach is a lot like Steve Spurrier was in the 1990s he doesn't give a dayamm who he pisses off:LOL:

Yeah, I wasn't talking about their basketball program. I was comparing our feelings during the recent basketball search to what their football fans must be feeling now.

I think Leach is a GREAT coach. He's never had top tier talent anywhere he's been, but his teams win. IMO he's the passing version of CPJ. Is he going to win at the levels UT fans want? TBD, but I do know Vol fans are gonna have a LOT of fun with him as their coach.

Leach has a cult following, so UT will gain fans just from hiring him. Currie will have pulled another ace out of Fulmer's butt if he can pull this one off.

The SEC needs more offensive coaches, and hiring Moorhead at MSU and if Leach goes to UT, it's going to be a fun league to watch.

I seriously think that Leach and CPJ are twins that were separated at birth. They met one day and one decided to rule the passing game in college football while the other decided to rule the running game.

Rumor so far is he didn't get Haslam's blessing for going after Leach.



I bet Tenn takes a step back hires a search firm and hires a new coach in about a month.

That situation is toxic. Why any good coach with a promising career would want to step into that situation is beyond me.

Good luck getting any half decent coach now, UT...

When all is said and done I think Tennessee will wind up hiring James Madison head coach Mike Houston or Tee Martin who wants the job badly or they could do as was mentioned on WNML and hire a search firm and get a head coach in a couple of weeks. I think it will either be Mike Houston or Tee Martin.
