Holding BC to single digits in both of the first 2 quarters, though they could not throw the ball in the ocean right now. I suspect they have to start making these open looks at some point but I think we've opened up enough of a lead to be okay. Kara Dunn is having another dominating performance...far too athletic for the Eagles defenders.

APOLOGIES1 Meant to spell her name correctly. Noguero.
She participated in warmups. I’m sitting in first row behind bench a few seats from their academic advisor and he said no. Team is playing a punishing D. And offense isn’t run & shoot 3s. Playing smart moving the ball.

Ugly end to 3rd with multiple defensive lapses & unforced turnovers. Still up by 15, 53-38. Lead was by 26

Looks like the Jackets are going to hold on for a 20 point road victory before they head back to their Super Bowl parties in sunny, 70 degree Atlanta. Nice job @spdrama on the away support - hopefully the team rewarded your dedication with a couple free cups of Powerade  . How'd you like Conte Forum? I've been to Alumni Stadium next door which is really nice - reminds me a lot of Bobby Dodd Stadium. I get the need for convertible arenas but I don't love hockey arenas that double for basketball - I think you might have been further from the court in the front row than you would be in row 12 at McCamish. Safe travels back to NY!

The dead hockey area is behind the basket at the visitor end. The rest is ok. I moved to front row behind the bench. With hockey space it might be equal to row 4 or 5 in 102 McCamish. They don’t have a center Jumbotron. I understand why the women are all wearing pink, but rooting for a team in white with pink letters & numbers ain’t easy for me. I did notice Ines with small bandages around a finger on each hand. So she might be nursing a jam. Otherwise, all good. One Eagles team down. One to go. Should make it home before SB is over.

This team has 2 seniors, Blackshear and Smith. I think Blackshear has another year of eligibility, but I'm not 100% certain. This Zoe's 5th year, so it's most likely her last. We have a 6'3" center (#17 in Nation) next year. This team is going to be a stout team if everyone comes back and is a year better next year.

She's been losing some minutes to Tianna Thompson recently I think.
She actually lost her spot in the starting lineup to Chit Chat Wright. I think her poor shooting and untimely turnovers cost her minutes. Coach Nell wants a lineup on the floor with as many shooters on the perimeter as possible. With Zoe Smith at power forward, having Noguero in the lineup left us with only 3 perimeter shooters and just two if Blackshear subbed in for Termis. And yes Thompson has taken a few of her minutes as well.

Nope, Blackshear is playing her final collegiate season.
