The two players I mentioned are expected to be the #1 picks in the next two drafts and potentially generational talents.This nonsense is just stupid, and it is eroding fan interest in college sports.
I also don’t get why anyone would pay these kids for endorsements outside of playing basketball. They aren’t marketable personalities or celebrities. Literally no one knows or cares who they are. That’s the nature of being a hired gun who is here today and gone tomorrow.
I think this year's HS NIL market has heated up, given COVID years are generally coming to an end, likely diluting the portal of the most experienced players.
