Tickets available for $1 on SeatGeek. Come on out early for the Brent Key Coach's Show hosted inside the 10th Street entrance at 6pm (not sure if they are opening doors 30 minutes early for this or not).

Not sure how much to take away from this one but nice to just see Baye impose his will on an inferior opponent. Hesitant to say he's back after a game against Charleston Southern but let's hope he can keep things rolling against Central Arkansas on Saturday.

Best game for Mustaf this year. He looked much more comfortable tonight. We have to figure out how to play intense defense without fouling. That was horrible tonight. Why doesn’t coach play Motumbo or any of the walk ons when they are up 20 and a minute to go?

Only bright spot for me is seeing Mustaph step up and grow. Seems like he can muscle his way past defenders and he's got a quick first step and explosive bounce. Not sure how much of that he'll get away with in the ACC, but I like his confidence and taking it upon himself to keep CoC from getting all the momentum. Not much else gave me any good vibes beating a 1-6 (now 1-7) CoC team.

I think the we're going to start seeing teams attack our post even more. Cincy battered us down there, and CoC tried to do the same and put our guys in foul trouble. It's going to be a LONG season if Stoudamire doesn't adjust to keep our bigs from accumulating fouls.

Both teams had a key player out. Besides the preponderance of fouls, kudos to the bench for coming through, especially Mustaf and Soare. Powell does not look 6-8. Kinda plays shorter but provides energy. I am assuming that Mutumbo is not going to play this year and that Sutton is either still injured or is going to redshirt. Both could have helped last night.

Mustang made a couple really good decisions in this game that won’t show up in the bs that I liked. When to pull the ball back out, when to call his own number and drive. His ceiling is high IMHO.

The guys have got to learn how to play defense with their feet. When you play with your feet you’re not playing with your hands. 17 team fouls before the U16 TVto is a lot.

i hope that shooters bounce gets LOB off the schnide.

DO is going to be a really good big man for us IMHO but it’s going to be OJT

No positives in a loss; no negatives in a win.

GT 91 CS 67, needs a little context:

Clemson 91 CS 64
NF 90 CS 66
LSU 77 CS 68
McCollum out entire game for concussion protocol
O’Brien played but still recovering from ankle injury
Reeves only 14 minutes pulled by trainer (undisclosed injury)
Ndongo limited to 19 min (17 pts 8 rb, 100% FG)
Team still gets 18 assists on only 7 turnovers
10 steals

Fans been screaming for better/aggressive D & CDS and
staff spend entire practices on D so the team comes out
aggressively, focused & tough but committing lots of fouls
and play with 4 fouls on Baye, DO, Nait & Lance for most
of game YET increase lead in second half with freshman
Mustaf & bench. Mustaf reminding us how he led his team to
OTE championship last season.

Pay attention Saturday. Central Arkansas coming in. As bad as they
are predicted to fare in McCamish, they beat UNC Asheville, who in
turn beat UNF in the Osprey’s home opener. A win is never a given.
But if Yellow Jackets do win, a continuation of last night’s dominance
over CS would be a nice omen.

For me, one of the best parts of a win is the morning after crickets from
CDS haters, who NEVER EVER compliment a player or coach
after any win, whether a Top 10 or bottom 50. I can picture them
rooting for Charleston Southern during the run at the start of the
second half last night. Don’t understand why they just don’t go find a team
they actually like & can root FOR.
