Maybe NIL is a great equalizer for a school like GT. The $$$ is out there within the alumni base we just needed someone (Batt) who knew how to tap into what’s out there.
We’ve gone from losing 97-7 to uga to giving them absolute fits for the last 8 quarters (plus OT) with a new AD and HC!
Depending on what happens in the offseason we might be opening up against a top 25 team on the road. Hell if we make some moves in the portal we could be staring at a ranking going into Boulder. a W in that game will be massive to say we’re here to stay
It's Uche which has already been mentioned countless times. A lot of double posts and multiple transfer threads on here now. Would appreciate it if mods could clean all this stuff up over the holidays.
We need ONE thread for all TP (Transfer Portal) discussions just like we have for recruiting...
Never really thought about it like that. I am typically respectful to those behind me but do like to stand on critical plays or during big plays.
I find it enjoyable to stand at sporting events and helps open up my diaphragm especially for those of us that work at our desk jobs during the...
Receiver is my only real wish on offense (obviously I’d like to improve everywhere but I think we’ve got the pieces like you said). We could use a stud. I know we have some great guys but they fit the same mold. A stud WR for King/Philo to play with next year could make us o so dangerous
First COFH in Sanford (I was in Athens in ‘16 when we won but at a bar downtown). This is absolute heartache/heartbreak. Maybe there’s a silver lining I can find at the bottom of a beer can
Haynes King is a tough mf’er. Unfortunately he’s looked seriously banged up after plays and on the sideline. I hope we aren’t putting him at risk of serious injury
Agreed! This redshirt talk is puzzling. The kid is a TRUE freshman if he needs to redshirt he can do it next year while King finishes out his eligibility.
I dont like it either but people have to see the long term vision. We either make changes and gather resources now or we will NOT be playing top flight "college" football in the near future. IIWII
This is my concern as well. We seemed to have closed up the playbook a lot more this year. We had a variety of plays especially in the 2nd half of last year so the potential is there but we aren’t unleashing it?
