    FB Champs in/around Atlanta

More of an expression of skepticism about UGA than anything. GT is nowhere near winning one at the moment, but I feel like you may have a decade before the boys in Athens pull it off - plenty of time for things to change.

Merely payback for what the Jackets did to the Hokies in Blacksburg under Coach PJ

    FB Champs in/around Atlanta

To be honest, after the 2017 season I would've said confidently that the Bulldogs would win one before the Jackets, but now... I'm impressed by what Collins is building in Atlanta. I always thought Miami was the biggest obstacle for the Hokies but that hasn't proven to be the case. I have to...

    FB Champs in/around Atlanta

This year marks 30 since GT won its last national championship, but take solace - it makes 40 years since UGA won one! From "Southeast National Champions Club?" Only two P5 teams in the area shown have NOT won a national championship since 1990. One of them is the University of South...

Most over-achieving ACC FB team since 1994: Georgia Tech

That's an interesting point, bwelbo... imagine if CPJ had averaged 1 more win... how would GT football have been viewed then?

    ACC Network Updates

Both Techs lose this week (GT to UNC, VT to Miami). The following week GT has Duke, but VT has Rhode Island (FCS). The Hokies are bad, but still able to beat FCS (smile), so the answer is Virginia Tech.

    ACC Network Updates

I believe it ends up being roughly the same. SECN gets a little more per subscriber, but ACCN likely ends up with more total subs.

    ACC Network Updates

Fletch, I'm looking at $8.78M per school for THIS year, going up to $10.5M next year. Of course, I don't know what their actual costs to operate the ACCN are, so the net profit may be lower than I think... but the point is, this thing is massively successful already...

    ACC Network Updates

The ACCN is likely charging Comcast about $1.00 per subscriber. If they simply passed that cost on without marking it up 500%, it's unlikely anyone would be cancelling their subscription over a $1/month increase. JMO though.

    OC Hire

Not sure if this is the plan, but the I formation is a good transition for GT because you can still run some option plays while gradually transitioning to a Pro-style offense. Also, the base formation the CPJ used is not bad for developing more of a drop-back pass game (although personally I...
