Actually I think that sounds like kind of a cool promotion. :) Okay, so he has one polo, one or maybe two pairs of pants, a courtside casual set and one pair of trunks (let us assume black or navy). Should we start him a GoFundMe?

It looks to me like he has two pair of pants (one navy, one black), one polo, and one courtside casual set. Here's what happened. Memphis said their contribution to his salary could not be used for GT logo clothing (he has to provide receipts, see), so he's waiting for his first AA check to...

He'd better not get an R tat. Hard to get those things off. :) I'm assuming he and his family haven't even had a chance to look for a house yet. Once he has a place to live I'll assume he'll, like, buy some clothes.

+1. Especially if CJP will continue to remain more open-minded, and open to assistance/advice than he was at Memphis, I'll be happier than a pig in ****.

Post-2016 NFL Draft - GT Players

It's one basis of comparison, and a perfectly legitimate one. I just think since the draft represents drawing from a bigger world, that broadening our basis of comparison has merit in this context. Our 'competition' in the draft includes consistently superb teams we rarely play. If we did...

Post-2016 NFL Draft - GT Players

To me it doesn't trump it (nor should it; the best of the teams we regularly play/in our conference are our 'benchmark', for lack of a better way to put it). The NFL draft is national; to me that should broaden the base of a rough comparison to P5. Again, mo only.

Post-2016 NFL Draft - GT Players

I see your point and respect it. I just don't like comparing us solely to Coastal, ACC, or the consistently strongest of the teams we regularly face. I understand that doing well in those particular arenas is important. It's more meaningful to me personally, though, in talking about...

Does this make Seth Greenberg the grizzled, calm, experienced X's and O's guy? I apologize for my ignorance; I don't know all these guys as well as you all do. I realize all the moving parts are important, but to me the stable X&O expert is the most important of an important group.

Or adjust the helmet to match the pants. :p I like the mustard dog-poo gold. Always been my favorite.

    Coaches on the Hot Seat

Lemme make sure I have this right. This coach is not particularly talented or gifted, so he is using his talented sons to piggyback his way into a job he could not win on his own merit? If the only way I could get a decent job was to ride on (pimp) my kids' abilities, I'd have, like, zero (or...

+1. Our official navy is a pretty dark shade (yes, there are different shades of navy; that was news to me). It goes well with white and gold, and can look black in certain light/on certain items. I have a couple things I have to hold up to something black to tell for sure. I think our...

I'm assuming it'd be up to the AA to say "no ... just no" if they showed us something Maryland-ish. Right?

    Spring game 2016

I apologize if this is a deeply stupid question, but I have never played nor coached ball. Does the O-line train as a team? That is, do the 5 starters practice together, training for what each will do, separately and together, when they see a particular D alignment, or shift? Do they work...

Lol! I don't think they've outfitted teams for decades now. They've been bought and sold several times now iirc. I'd prefer UA only because of this: If they'd give us glow-in-the-dark I'd be fine with it, but they won't. UA imo is a much better fit for us as far as what we'd get from them...
