Well boys, we lost another one. Sparks of what is coming with more experience was seen today. Don’t know why Graham went back out again, seems like we did better without him. The fumble into the end zone took all the air out of us.
Screw.
I have all these dreams, still after age 49. Finals for classes I didn’t realize I had signed up for. Midterms that I suddenly realized is happening and I am just waking up. Running across campus in my underwear trying to make it on time.
Every now and then I will wake up screaming “But...
Great post, I wholeheartedly agree. Just the fact that our guys gave everything they had with a 1-5 record staring them in the face speaks volumes to CGC and his philosophy as well as how he has sold the players on it. They never gave up and refused to lose.
And we had one made that was nixed during to a penalty. Plus more of the same penalties we have seen.
Both teams made mistakes. But I think it is telling that while I was checking out the Miami boards, they gave us credit for playing with heart, wanting it more, and coming to win. Heck, even...
Me either, but I said in a post earlier today. I have to think that CGC (and thereby also the other coaches) will learn from their mistakes and improve their in game decisions. I have to think this because it doesn’t make sense for them NOT to adjust their game plan and calls.
This is the offense we have now, I saw a lot of things to be excited about in the next few years. A couple good backs to hand to already playing and if we can get some pass blocking, we can do a lot of damage in the ACC. Give it a couple more years so we can get some serious beef on O Line and...
I have been browsing the Miami forums for a bit now, the basic consensus is GT wanted it more and fought for it. Tech refused to give up and we played our hearts out. Not much flack over the spot, more apathy about being in OT against a bad GT team. They aren’t even mad at us or the refs...
This is true, but it was more of a strategy to draw local interest. To the SEC watchers, I think GT vs Tennessee or SCAR is of MUCH greater interest than GT vs ND. SEC country fans couldn’t care less about GT vs ND. And that is where we live.
For instance, I listen to my local Jackson sports...
I like the way you think. I want to schedule SEC teams if we can get marginally on track. Wouldn’t mind seeing home and home vs the Mississippi teams, Tennessee, SCAR, Vandy to start. And why not? It would generate more interest rather than South Florida or Temple. Now that these teams...
