That was my last quarter there, graduated that fall. It was so bad after a few weeks I just went to the games trashed and honestly only remember the one game against NCSU I think where I got into a fight with some fraternity dudes who were sloshed even more than I was.
Why does anyone think adding west coast teams is a good idea? Seems like a drag for the students to have to go out there. SMU is not as bad a ride, but NoCal is a completely different matter.
This is about where I am. Once B1G and SEC re-up I think the market normalizes to something much less than they are getting now. ESPN definitely overpaid for SEC, and it shows with all the money itbis hemorrhaging now.
We will have a winning season, so at least 6. I expect one more.
Don’t listen to pundits that do not dig into the team mechanics to see what we really have going on here. Too many dismiss our chances because of TFG that it seems they have no idea left and Key immediately responded with...
I have argued this for some time on another board, mainly with a UGAg fan. His take is neither SEC or B1G is going to add any team that doesn’t add to the collective take for all conference teams. Which went out the window just now with the PAC team additions to B1G. In addition, he maintains...
GT being very quiet about all this. Is it possible we already have a landing spot in back pocket kept tightly under wraps if and when this house of cards suddenly fall?
Great post, would you mind if I copied it and pasted it on another cfb board? I suppose I could summarize it but it's Saturday and I've done enough work this week already.
That's right. Espn is in a financial situation where they aren't willing to pay extra for much. Makes me think that the next round of bargaining with SEC won't be measly as lucrative as it is now. Espn overpaid. and it's biting them now.
CPJ offense was fun and this was a good thread to read. I had forgot about the NCAA being pushed to ban some of the methods CPJ used in his blocking schemes. It's like we had a target on our offense and our opponents wanted to tear us down to level the playing field, going contrary with the...
No I get that he was expected to immediately move from that offense, and may have been a stipulation, but a HC has to look at the players he has and play to their strengths, not try to do something they can't.
