  1. Poll: What do you hope to see next season?

My guess is that at least half of the 95% are lying through their keyboards.
  2. Poll: What do you hope to see next season?

5 is the decision point. Less than this definitely gone, greater definitely here. The decision at 5 depends on how good/ bad we look in losses and, more importantly, how recruiting is stacking up.
  3. Mostly “Fire Geoff Collins”, some reminiscing, maybe bourbon or other distractions

Actually the 2008 team had Nesbitt, Dwyer, Jones, Thomas, Gardner, Morgan, Johnson, Richards, Walker, Burnett, and many other great players. I actually believe I could have gone 11-2 with that team. The question is, why the hell did we let Gailey go?
  4. Mostly “Fire Geoff Collins”, some reminiscing, maybe bourbon or other distractions

Nah, the first year was definitely on CPJ, the second year was a combination, the third year more on CGC and next year, for better or worse, is almost all on CGC.
  5. Mostly “Fire Geoff Collins”, some reminiscing, maybe bourbon or other distractions

Hmm, I was thinking we had enough empirical evidence it was lack of inherited talent. Guess it just depends on who is analyzing the empirical evidence. We will know this time next year.
  6. Mostly “Fire Geoff Collins”, some reminiscing, maybe bourbon or other distractions

Two things: 1. Kennesaw State 11-2 2. Beamer did not follow a 3O coach
  7. Mostly “Fire Geoff Collins”, some reminiscing, maybe bourbon or other distractions

Thanks. Actually, I really enjoyed the CPJ years with the 3O, though I never want it back. Basically, I just really enjoy POing the anti-CGC posters.
  8. Mostly “Fire Geoff Collins”, some reminiscing, maybe bourbon or other distractions

It’s cute when a Service Academy runs the 3O, it’s pathetic when a Power 5 team does.
  9. Let's go about this different only positive things ( Why will Tech win 6 games or more next year)

We now have a roster that can compete. The quality recruits from the past 3 clases will begin to mature. The offense will be light years better under Long and Collins will significantly improve the defense. If we get on a roll, we could have a pretty good year with many other teams breaking in...
  10. Always darkest before the dawn

GT has been on a downward slide since 2010. We did have a couple of good years, but the overall trend, especially in talent, was downward. It has caught up with us. I think CGC’s recruiting will begin to turn this around, if he and his coaches can coach better. However, college football is not...
  11. Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego…um…er…Tashard Choice? (TX?)

USC thinks that Gibbs is coming with Choice.
  12. Game Day Plans or Not Watching at All?

Arrive at 8, cook bacon and eggs, have a beer or two, head to the game at 11:15 and root like crazy.
  13. GT vs. Ga Sou

As bad as our luck has been against UGA over the years, our luck against Georgia Southern has been just as good.
  14. Transfer Portal: Who's Coming and Going (2022 Roster)

You do realize that this is good news, right.
  15. Where is the zone?

We went to the zone for the last 4 minutes of the Lamar game and it might have saved the game for us.
  16. Thread based on inaccurate photo

Looks like a very warm day and lots of leaves on the trees.
  17. Hypothetical poll: how long would it take Saban to win a championship here?

Saban would do well at GT, but there is zero chance in today’s college football environment he wins a NC. Also, the first year he ran off 15 players who did not meet his playing standards, 40% of our fan base would go crazy.
  18. Attendance Down Significantly (AJC)

If CGC can recruit like he is with 3 win seasons, imagine how he can recruit when we start winning. We need some tweaks on the coaching staff, but the future is brighter than it has been since the O’Leary years.
