I think they will do away with byes. If it were a 1 week bye right after the season it would be beneficial. However, if you have been off for a month and the other team played last week, I think it is a disadvantage.

I don’t think academics any impact on athletics anymore. When is the last time you heard of a player being ineligible due to academics? GT is looking at possible transfers from West Georgia, FIU, Jackson State, etc.

It depends on the situation. If it is going to cost a team a spot in the playoffs, if it is in front of 90K fans, if it is your home conference, if the officials are afraid of Kirby Smart, it is not targeting. If it was GT, it would have been targeting.

I will get blasted for saying this, but right now, UGA is arguably the top football program in the country. We went to their place last night before 80K fans and beat them in every way except the final score. UGA won, but it took a lot of luck and a lot of help from the refs to do it. We are not...

Yea, our home field has been such an advantage against UGA. We did win there last century.
