Well, he'll get a payout of $20M+, so Kingsbury could take on an advisory job til he figures out what's next.
Don't need his late-season meltdowns, though.
Thought there was a thread for Usher and Devoe post-GT, but couldn't find it.
I was reading the recap of our win against Miami and it mentioned about when Devoe and Usher combined for 58 pts against UGA.
Got me thinking about how their respective seasons were going.
Ush is hammering it in...
Welp, we hoofed the same ground. '83-'86 in Towers. If you were 117 in '83 then we were on the same wing - don't remember # but 2nd or 3rd from end on tunnel/75 side. Then in the corner room next year - maybe 102? Then far end the next year in the closest room to the interstate. Sure we met...
NIL $ is taxable once you hit minimum standard deduction amounts and are considered self-employment income, so you may have to pay taxes on FICA, etc. and should be paying estimated quarterly taxes so that they don't get a penalty at the end of the year. Also impacts whether parents/guardian...
So of Wilson and Rivers, which is only 3/4? One has thrown for 40k+ and a won a Super Bowl and the other had 63k yards (#6 all-time). Pretty dang good on both parts.
Also, one more to add to the NCState list: Jacoby Brissett is still playing and has done a few things - 3 decent years out of...

“My real...
I'd bet that is short for G.P. Wade. His first name is Gideon.
Worked with a Geep for awhile - an actual George P. . . . just not Burdell. (although last name starts with a B and is a GT grad)
Look, remember, we are engineers.
There are optimists that see the glass as half full.
There are pessimists that see the glass as half empty.
Then there are engineers who see the glass is twice the size it needs to be.
Wow, looking at that again is painful. I don't think you can blame the first on the kicker - even 1/2 yard shorter step wouldn't have mattered. Blocker was entirely untouched. T. McGuez didn't get a finger on him and backer was on another blocker.
IIRC, PHIII had a rough first year with a couple of punts blocked (they don't seem to keep records on that stat so couldn't find anything) and he was waaay inconsistent going 50 yards several punts and then shanking the next. I remember discussion about him slow-stepping as well but improved...

I’m thankful I didn’t because I met my wife the next year (and we did some cool things on the baseball field)
Yes - me too. Was thinking a bit too much info ;)
