What is the North Carolina. Game uniform

It’s not navy. At all. Here’s mine with actual navy pants in the foreground.

North Carolina vs. Georgia Tech Predictions #UNCvsGT

Just my opinion on why the score will be that way. But I don’t think it’s the thread to get into that discussion.

North Carolina vs. Georgia Tech Predictions #UNCvsGT

31-3 UNC. Better team and better coaches.

Is college football near the end as we know it.

If the money they (the student athletes) are receiving is coming from 3rd parties, and not the schools/athletic associations, wouldn’t the athletic associations have to then track which individuals are getting paid, by who, and how much compensation they are getting? Wouldn’t this create a...

GT (+8.5) vs. North Carolina #UNCvsGT

Sorry, I was saying it seems the players aren’t/weren’t. But Mack seems to be trying to fix it before the game.

He did again today in the PC

Ah yes...our heydays that coincided with CGCs youth.

He did again today in the PC

I didn’t say THE key, but I’d say it’s very important. Unmotivated players/employees/whatever don’t try very hard, especially when faced with adversity.

He did again today in the PC

Because, and I know it’s early, but his approach doesn’t seem to be motivating to the team. The players hop around as they get their butts handed to them, and we are told/shown that this is ok, because it’s encouraged from the top down. If they get this kind of treatment when we are at what may...

He did again today in the PC

I’d prefer CGC to actually say something different than the exact same things he says every time he’s in front of a camera or mic. To be truthful about the teams performance, instead of fluffing things up and sounding Iike we give participation trophies.

He did again today in the PC

I would feel much more comfortable with CGC if he sounded like Mack here, instead of the constant media-speak and catch phrases we get. Scroll down for video. https://www.si.com/college/unc/football/no-hamburger-eaters-mack-brown

GT (+8.5) vs. North Carolina #UNCvsGT

Sounds like the players (UNCheat) aren’t taking this game seriously. Could be good for us. https://www.si.com/college/unc/football/no-hamburger-eaters-mack-brown

Is college football near the end as we know it.

Aren’t schools already allowed to give stipends for living expenses? And I think they are allowed to cover all of a student athletes food (unlimited meals). Or were you meaning more than the stipends mentioned in the below articles...

Is college football near the end as we know it.

That’s almost a given. Alabama, even Auburn have very deep pocketed donors that take football very seriously, and would/do pay whatever they can to get the best players/win. It is exactly that...chest thumping/bragging rights. If even half of the stories of the cars bought for recruits, jobs...

Is college football near the end as we know it.

How would schools/athletic associations pay for that? If you do this for football, you’d have to do it for every sport, maybe even cheerleading and band too. Where would that money come from? An increase in ticket prices? We (GT) already can’t sell any venue out at some of the lowest ticket...

Is college football near the end as we know it.

Yeah. Most people aren’t fully aware of what this is, or how it could potentially impact things. As mentioned above, I think one of the biggest potential impacts is boosters/donors who currently give to the athletic associations (which helps all the schools’ programs, men’s and women’s, big...

Is college football near the end as we know it.

Typically the blue blood schools are the ones with the most money...aka donors. This is potentially cutting those big money donors loose to pay those players directly. You don’t think that a big money donor(s) at Bama, or even my example above, Nike/Oregon would come at that GT running back...

Is college football near the end as we know it.

Or what’s to stop Nike University (Oregon) from having the nations best QB, RB, WR, recruits all on the same team, since with this, Nike would be able to pay the players directly as “ambassadors”/spokespeople? Does anyone have the money to compete with Nike If they did that? Or even Under Armour...

Is college football near the end as we know it.

I’m not saying I’m against it. I certainly think if a player is popular enough that his/her numbered jersey is selling like crazy, or someone wants that player’s face on billboards or to pay then to play in their golf tournament, then I’m all for that. It’s their performance and popularity...

Is college football near the end as we know it.

You bring up some VERY good points...If I’m currently donating to GT football at a high level, and not seeing the product on field I want (aka elite level players), I just start using that money instead to go directly to big impact/high skill level players to influence them to come here.

Is college football near the end as we know it.

Exactly. Or I own a car dealership, and tell Tua’s younger brother that I’ll use his image in advertising for chris975d’s Chevy dealership for the next 4 years and pay him a half million a year, IF he’s in a GT jersey in the “ads”/marketing.
