I agree. The individual talent is there, but the 'team' struggles. In my mind, that leans more on the coaching. That issue starts at the top, reference previous FB problems. Might be time to scratch that seven year itch and move on.
Sometimes the soup just doesn't come together. I like to root for this group, but the chefs definitely would like another shot at this combination of players.

I like that 358 rushing yards in a game seems like a lot until one recognizes Eddie Lee Ivery with 356 yards rushing against Air Force in 1978 all by himself and 604!! team rushing yards against Kansas (that's a lot of 3 yards and a cloud of dust in the wind runs) in 2011.

Many games after watching my varsity guys butcher offensive sets, I would just call freelance (which was literally just put the ball in the PG's hands and run some playground). A couple rounds of that would seemingly regain their game focus. I wonder sometimes if GT would be better running...
I used to tell my squad all the time, "it's ok if you b!+@#, so long as you row on count". I had guys that didn't like the conflicts personality-wise, but it was always better to put the issues on the table and deal with it directly.
I'm excited to see how the new leadership team is doing...
