Will Griffin and Gray be the best pair of safeties under Johnson?

I love the way Corey Griffin plays, but I just worry that he's liable to catch a BS targeting call that could change a game. I remember him getting one in 2015 I think that made a difference in that game (can't remember the specifics, but I am pretty sure it happened). He's definitely puts a bit...

Super Bowl 51 Atlanta Falcons vs New England Patriots

The parallels between this game and our COFH game were striking, particularly since I think this one might be on me. My first daughter was born in 2014, and we won COFH in a close game where we were in charge the entire game and almost lost it on some bad calls...that Super Bowl was the one the...

Super Bowl 51 Atlanta Falcons vs New England Patriots

True, the early sacks were pretty bad (seeing Grady Jarrett and Vic Beasley coming hard at the QB was giving me some GT/Clemson flashbacks), but Shaq was a beast by the end of the game. For the first 2pt conversion run, it was basically the "get behind Shaq play" and he cleared a path into the...

    ProJackets Update

I really want to get a Shaq Mason #69 jersey. You know Gronk was pissed they don't allow non-linemen to wear numbers in the 60s (see the story about him wanting to retire at 69 TDs, plus him purposely missing a free throw in a high school game to keep his team's score at 69).

Jaylend Ratliffe Present health and status

Yeah I expect him to go the coaching route...he's already got a head start now working with the coaches while still in school. By the time he becomes a GA, he'll already be experienced in coaching.

Man that smile that spreads across his after the dude mentions Qua's dive is awesome! I get that same smile every time I think about it too.

    Bradley screws up again...

They can discuss their herpes all they want...our legendary coach should have his legacy respected.

    ProJackets Update

I love how we sell big athletic dudes (often D-linemen) on the fact that our offensive line gets to attack the defense all game. It's bringing in some guys who play with an edge out there, just aggressively hunting down guys to block. That Shaq play where he took down 2 Steelers shows that it's...

Justin Thomas invited to Senior Bowl

2014 he was absolutely blazing, especially in the OB after he got a little time to recover. I think he's always been more lightning quick than just purely fast, though, partly due to his short stature and stride. I'd bet his 40 time would be greatly improved if he worked with a track coach, and...

    Favorite COFH Game

Easy...he just has to not be that good. Believe it, if he was balling out at QB like early Mike Vick, ol Jerry would have let him get away with anything. Also, didn't Quincy have a game against South Carolina (back when they were BAD) where the Cocks caught more of his passes than the Dwags?

Justin Thomas invited to Senior Bowl

I'd bet he's been working with some private coaches as a DB since the bowl game since that's where he is taking his NFL shot (and I bet that position choice was likely guided by the NFL draft advisory committee).

    Favorite COFH Game

Don't feel too bad for him, the refs tried to "fix" their error a couple years later when the D-wag pulled the ball out of the pile (while the refs were actively pulling players off the top) and ran it back for a TD. Then again in 2014 with the JT goal line play. They've gotten so many freaking...

Justin Thomas invited to Senior Bowl

That's an even better starting income when you figure they're not paying off a pile of student loans. Those things are no joke, they severely impact the effective income of just about every kid coming out of college.

Super Bowl 51 Atlanta Falcons vs New England Patriots

Belichick I think loses the benefit of the doubt by having very little patience for reporters and dumb questions...kind of reminds me of our coach in that way. I don't think he's "nasty" like Saban, just doesn't suffer fools gladly. If he was nicer to the media, they'd be easier on him.

    More Player Highlight Videos

They should have included some clips of Jeune's downfield blocking. I seem to remember him clearing lanes for RBs 20+ yards downfield multiple times. It might not be sexy, but NFL teams love WRs who are willing blockers.

    Russell Contract?

I'm with the players, I love the honeycomb helmets (and compression gear under the uniform). I think it's a great branding opportunity to own that look.

    Francis Kallon MVP!

The incorrect usage of "dominate" for "dominant" is one of those that just really bothers me, along with "loose" for "lose" and "bias" for "biased". I have no idea why these particular misuses have propagated so far, but these are the ones I see the most and they drive me guano crazy!

The Chicago Cubs are looking to host a Bowl Game in Wrigley Field

Man I hope you're not talking about the chain joint and meant the original (along with Due across the street) here. It's a whole different experience at the original (and all the other real Chicago places), and the only other place I've ever had it similar was a place Zachary's in Berkeley CA...

The Chicago Cubs are looking to host a Bowl Game in Wrigley Field

Man some of you guys who have never lived out of the south need to buck up and deal with weather...Chicago is beautiful at Christmas time! Yeah the game would be cold but that's why god invented hand warmer packs. I'd certainly rather be in Chicago in December than El Paso for New Years or...
