  1. Undrafted Player Deals

Not surprising. He's a very good RB. We just couldn't lower ourselves and hand him the ball because we were too busy trying to prove to the world we were no longer a running team but a big time pro style offense.
  2. Undrafted Player Deals

Fast forward to 2025 and we'll be hearing the same excuse except it will be Johnson left the cupboard bare, then Collins couldn't recover from the Covid hole he found himself in so we need 6 more years to build an OL. You know, all he did was recruit big, immobile OL for pass pro & not suited to...
  3. GT's Most Iconic Play

It was so easy to call the plays ahead of time at the Orange Bowl. Missi St lined up and you could see exactly where we were going to maul them. If they didn't leave a big gaping hole to run towards, we just pounded them backwards or JfT did his thing. It was beautiful.
  4. Collins says players have 'chip on their shoulder'

This seems to fly in the face of the commonly accepted theory that our previous OL wasn’t built to run his offense. The guys we had were more ideally suited to run outside RPO concepts. I can’t figure out what the man was trying to run but I’m guessing he was after a PRO not an RPO. Based on the...
  5. Collins says players have 'chip on their shoulder'

Replacing coaches fixes immediate things- correct play or best play we got being called, timeout management, how well practices are being run, in some cases overcoming existing liabilities whether near term recruiting battels are won or lost, getting the right player in the right position, etc...
  6. Collins says players have 'chip on their shoulder'

You're probably better off having a back & forth with the couple of fonts buying your story line. Have a good night.
  7. Clemson Game Sold Out

At least you weren't where I was. We were surrounded by GT fans convinced we were going to lose until pretty deep into the 4th qtr. Our expectations have plummeted.
  8. Collins says players have 'chip on their shoulder'

There's always a reason we should be sucking. Now it's size of the class. Nobody else has that issue of course, just like Covid, it only affected GT.
  9. Collins says players have 'chip on their shoulder'

2022 we were 52!!!! You won't believe this but in 2021 we were 48th!!!! We killed it in '21 recruiting. I'm not sure we've ever had a 3 year run so good. Whoa Nellie, hang onto your hats.
  10. Collins says players have 'chip on their shoulder'

You are paying attention to how we're doing, right? We've sunk to Vandy and Dook levels. The pro scheme was supposed to result in recruiting elite talent. Yeah, we're elite compare to North Elinoy and West Cackalacky but we're supposed to be kicking Dook, Vandy and Wake's butts right now & it...
  11. Collins says players have 'chip on their shoulder'

Our recruiting's been dead. We're running the same scheme as everybody else now with Paul Johnson level or worse recruiting results. We have neither a scheme nor a recruiting advantage any more. National Championships on the way no doubt with that eliteness!
  12. Fan Day 2022

There was an event scheduled this spring in the Brock facility. It was a combo event scheduled on weekend in April with Beesball and women's softball. I was already flying thru Atlanta on that week so I rsvp'd. I wasn't checking email every 5 mins, didn't realize GT cancelled at some point...
  13. 2022 Transfer Portal

That's tough for the kid. As with any GT man, hope everything works out great for him down the road.
  14. GT's Most Iconic Play

He didn't run as long as Mike Cox on his TD run. I can't remember the amount of yards, maybe 40, but it was straight to the endzone untouched and it took about 15 secs.
  15. GT's Most Iconic Play

Surprised nobody's mention the Goose is Loose
  16. Parada signs with the Mets

$5M, not a bad payday. Congrats to him!
  17. Who’s going to the Benz on the Fifth?

@MidtownJacket Thanks. There's more to it than meets the eye it appears. I suppose you plan for 5 concession stand workers, 10 security and 5 ushers, then an extra 2k people show up doesn't work logistically. You also piss off that other guy when you sell a ticket for $15 in his $125 season...
