Winning % isn't a very good metric. The middle and bottom thirds of the B1G are dumpster fires, for example.
The Sagarin ratings have it more like this:
SEC
B12
P12
ACC
B1G
(Big gap here)
AAC
MWC
MAC
Missouri Valley (yes, the FCS conference)
CUSA
Sun Belt
When they started talking about Duke's gameplan, my first thought was VT as well. Not a bad plan to emulate if you have a SS that you trust to execute it.
The worrying thing is that Duke's other players are not at VT's level.
http://espn.go.com/college-football/boxscore?gameId=263290061 - and that team was theoretically built to throw it a little bit.
I would have gone outside on 3rd down, but oh well. The 4th down call had a shot if someone had blocked #93.
I was working under the assumption that he didn't have that service available. The game wasn't listed in the NBC Sports app last I looked, but maybe it got added at some point.
There isn't any legal way to do it, for video. NBC only streams the stuff from their cable channels online.
The GT Gameday app will give you access to the live radio feed if you have Android or iOS. After that, it would be up to you to find a discreet earbud to listen.
For the bog-standard TO play, you're right, though obviously CPJ can change it up in-game by changing the blocking calls for the OL.
AFAIK, we read the DT by default on the midline option.
We're on the way. Another good season (9+ wins, given the tough schedule) to follow up last year would be a big help.
D-Line recruiting needs to get better, especially in the middle.
They have a ton of talent all over the field and (when healthy) the single best player in the conference. They're a safe pick if you think FSU is going to be down a bit.
They still have two big questions, though:
1) Can Watson stay healthy?
2) Can the new guys in the front 7 on D step up to...
True, though I think we've shown with Hewitt and CPJ that you'll be paid well once you perform. Someday one of these cheap guys has to pay off, right? :banghead:
GT should be a good job, based on location and conference. Add in the fact that we're a football-first school and you can keep your job pretty much forever by winning 18+ games a year and finishing mid-pack in the ACC, and it starts to look even better for someone thinking long-term.
I think he wants to know if someone has taken the ESPN video feed and replaced the audio with our radio broadcast.
To answer the question, there is not one that I know of.
